Cyclone separators HE and HF

For filtration and pre separation

The highly efficient cyclone separators represent the most cost-effective solution for separating dried material (larger than 5 microns) from gas streams.

Our HE and HF base models were developed in line with the latest findings from cyclone theory and fluid mechanics with regard to a high total separation rate and a low pressure loss. When choosing the cyclone type, we distinguish between two fundamental applications - filtration (HE - High Efficiency model) and pre-separation (HF - High Flow model). The aim is to achieve the maximum separation rate through the filtration; this places the highest demands on the cyclone and calls for an optimum design. In the pre-separation cyclones are employed upstream of other filter systems. They have to handle a maximum volume flow rate with minimum pressure loss.

To attain best results in the case of large-scale cyclone separators (> 8000 m³/h), we offer the project-related and individual dimensioning and construction of cyclone separators (pre-separators) - thus providing customer-specific individual solutions with a variety of options.

The HE cyclone model can be universally employed for the filtration of dry, pourable and not very rough types of dust (< 50 microns). The HF cyclone model can be universally employed for the pre-separation of large amounts of dry and pourable types of dust with medium to large particle diameters (> 50 microns). These cyclones are used upstream of other filter systems. They are also suitable for retrieving bulk goods from air transport.

Cyclone Type HE

High Efficiency

  Zyklonabscheider, Zyklonvorabscheider, Vorfilter, Zyklonvorfilter, Staubabscheider

Cyclone Type HF

High Flow

for filtration

The cyclone type HE can be used universal for the filtration of dry, free-flowing and not very coarse (particles <50 microns).

for pre-separation

The cyclone type HF can be used universal for the pre-separation of large quantities of dry and free flowing dust with medium to large particle diameters (> 50 microns). These cyclones are upstream of other technical filtering systems. They are also suitable for the recovery of bulk solids from air transport.
